WORDS FROM THE NGĀHERE
A creative workshop for all ages (4–60+), held in the heart of the Waitākere bush at Arataki Visitor Centre. We’ll wander, wonder, and write—guided by the question: “What does this place need?”—and craft a shared poem. Each participant will also create their own handmade word book to take home. Our collective poem will become part of a special display of words at Arataki for National Poetry Day, celebrating the voices of our local community.
All welcome—no poetry experience needed, just curiosity and fun.
When: Sat 16th Aug – Workshop | Friday 22th Aug- Display
Where:Arataki Visitor Centre, 300 Scenic Drive, Oratia, Waitakere 0604
