    On Wednesday 11 August, Wellington will host ‘Books Alive’ events, featuring a selection of the finalists of the 2021 New Zealand Book Awards for Children & Young Adults, ahead of the awards ceremony that evening. These school events are presented by the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults, in association with the National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa and Wellington City Libraries. All sessions will be held at the National Library’s Tiakiwai Conference Centre, 70 Molesworth Street, Wellington. Places are still available in some sessions.
