Online submissions for the 2023 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards, for books published in New Zealand between 1 January 2022 and 31 December 2022, have now closed.

The 2023 longlist will be announced on 2 February and the shortlist on 8 March. The 2023 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards ceremony will be held in Auckland on 17 May 2023, in collaboration with the Auckland Writers Festival.
