Winners of the 2026 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards were announced at a ceremony held in Auckland on 13 May 2026, in collaboration with the Auckland Writers Festival.

Submission for the 2027 awards, for New Zealand books published between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2026, will open early August 2026.

Please note criteria and conditions of entry are reviewed every year, so you should read the 2027 pack carefully once entries open in early August 2026 for the 2027 awards.
